Meet the Staff:
Jane Boston, President
Jane Boston, founder and president of Motivations, Inc., has 25 years experience in health care management and program development.
Motivations, Inc., began offering training courses to rehab professionals in February 1999. The company began with the unique concept of bringing providers together in a membership offering quality continuing education. Mrs. Boston used her skills in strategic planning, fundraising, and rehabilitation to develop this effort.
Her knowledge of rehab professionals and their training needs has been the key for Motivations’ success. Mrs. Boston served as executive director of The Hitchcock Rehabilitation Center, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, for 14 years. Under her leadership, Hitchcock Rehab grew from 12 employees to 250 employees, and from a $250,000 annual budget to a $7 million budget.
Jane is the current executive director of the South Carolina Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. Jane is a past president of the South Carolina Association for Rehabilitation Facilities, where she began the concept of group-purchasing for continuing education. Responsibilities during her career included personnel management, public relations, and financial performance. She also served on the National Education Committee for The American Occupational Therapy Association and was an official with the Charlotte Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Boston's education includes a B.S. in social work from Winthrop University and a Masters in Education from the University of South Carolina. Honors include: The Charlotte Woman Business Owner of the Year 1996 and 2005 by the National Association of Women Business Owners, and recognition in Entrepreneur Magazine, Feb. 2007.

Brian Boston, Operations
Brian is responsible for the operation of continuing education courses offered throughout the nation by Motivations, Inc. This includes textbook production, equipment, and shipping of materials for all courses.
Brian’s background includes operations and inspections at the Savannah River Plant in Aiken, S.C. His technical skills in electronics, planning and management make implementing the approximately 150 courses each year a smooth operation for our host sites, instructors and course attendees.

Allison Osman, Marketing Director & Course Coordinator
Allison implements marketing for all Motivations, Inc., on-site and self-study courses. Her responsibilities include advertising, brochures and publications, e-mail and direct mail campaigns, market research, internet marketing, and website management.
As course coordinator, she works with the professional licensing boards to ensure that our courses are accredited. She also works with our host site facilities and instructors to handle logistics for all on-site courses.
Her professional background is as a public relations director for a private university in South Carolina, and as a public affairs officer in the United States Navy. She is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, M.D., and served aboard USS Mount Whitney, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, and U.S. Naval Station Rota, Spain. She is also the editor of The Source by WIN Magazine, a publication of Women's Initiative Network.

Emily Pauley, Finance Manager
Emily handles all finances for Motivations, Inc., and related associations, to include accounts payable, banking responsibilities, and the management and filing of financial tractions. She also assists with managing SCAPTA and Women’s Initiative Network.
Emily is a graduate of Winthrop University, where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. She always has a smile in her voice that lets customers know she is there to help.

Nanci Singer, Customer Service
Nanci handles customer services, sale and promotions and member accounts for our clients. She is the friendly voice on the phone to our callers and is always eager to reach beyond the question with suggestions.
Nanci has 20 years in sales and puts her talents to work helping customers find CEU courses that meet each persons unique needs.
