# 327 Neuro-Developmental Treatment Approach to the Baby and Toddlers
This 2 day-workshop is designed for physical, occupational and speech therapists and assistants working with infants and young children. This course focus will on the identification and treatment strategies of infants and toddlers, from birth to five years of age, who have neurological diagnoses or are at risk for neuromotor problems. Emphasis will be on assessment and clinical observational skills that will promote precision in treatment selecting appropriate treatment strategies for ineffective posture and movement behaviors that interferes with acquisition of typical movement. Typical and atypical development will be discussed as well as sensory components that influence posture and movement behaviors. Direct handling will be demonstrated and practiced during labs and with the use of a therapy doll. These CEU's can also be used toward NDTA re-certification.
