# 339 Pediatric NDT Handling
This two day intermediate course is designed for the therapists who are currently treating pediatric clients with neurological deficits. Come to this course with your challenges in making change in your client’s functional limitations and participation restrictions. Using the ICF model for client assessment, an emphasis will be placed on your observation and analyses of posture and movement. Expand on your clinical decision-making skills to better target your interventions to address critical impairments that are impacting your clients’ functional abilities. Included are presentations of treatment videos and/or treatment demonstration to cement observational skills, and facilitate discussion. Participants will improve direct handling skills on adult partners to fine tune and grade therapeutic handling through a variety of facilitation techniques. Labs will focus on handling strategies that address the priority impairments and facilitate improved control of posture and movement for functional gains.
