#9184 Myofascial Release with Craniosacral Therapy VIRTUAL NOTES and DVD
This course is an intensive hands-on course in assessment and treatment of fascial imbalances that influence posture, movement and function. Review physiology of the craniosacral and connective tissue systems, assess and treat of the three dimensional fascial planes, and the fascial relationships of the extremities and the trunk. Basic craniosacral releases are presented including sacrum, frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital and mandibular releases. The application of compression and distraction to facilitate motion is taught, with attention to the extremities and thorax. Special evaluation techniques using general and local listening and balance are introduced to identify where primary fascial tension patterns influence posture and motion. Emphasis will be on restoring balanced posture and efficient functional mobility using direct and indirect interventions. The concept of interacting with the body tissues to facilitate a change is emphasized, rather than imposing movement upon the system. These techniques may be used to manage abnormal tension, based on current evidence, to achieve outstanding functional results. Make your practice extraordinary. This is an outstanding course for the development of your manual therapy skills!
