#7432 The Cardiopulmonary System - Treatment Intervention for the Rehabilitation Professional in the Acute Care Setting
Have you ever felt stuck regarding how to implement functional based treatments for your patients with cardiopulmonary disorders? This course provides insight into the most common cardiopulmonary disorders seen by rehabilitation therapists in the acute care setting .We will discuss how to develop an evidence-based plan of care for patients with cardiac and/ or pulmonary disorders. Further, this course will touch on how to implement ADL and IADL based treatment during the acute phases of cardiopulmonary disease. This course will also discuss implications of functional mobility with an emphasis on performance outcomes. Lastly, we will discuss with role of sleep, rest, and psychological implications with this population, and how that relates to your treatment plan
