#225 STROKE RECOVERY: THE BEST METHODS TO TREAT THE AFTER EFFECTS
 
We will address the best methods to rehab your stroke patients using neurodevelopmental approaches, muscle re-education, motor control and functional mobility.  We will approach this looking at spasticity, adult primitive reflexes, sensory contributions to postural control, mirror therapy, virtual reality and the like. We will demonstrate effective assessment tools and appropriate interventions you can use for all your patients with hemiplegia.  Course instruction method includes: lecture, picture graphs, videos, group discussion, labs, case studies, question/answers.
