# 428 Addressing Fall Risk Beyond Just Gait and Balance
 
This course will offer practical solutions to some of the most challenging real-life situations you face with patients who fall or are at risk of falling. We will review how to better predict and prevent falls with effective fall prevention tools and strategies. We will also introduce the latest advances in fall prevention including details from the CDC and their detailed fall prevention initiative, STEADI (Stop Elderly Accidents, Deaths, and Injuries). We will cover appropriate screening, assessment and interventions that will really impact on your patient population !!!!! Course instruction method includes: lecture, picture graphs, videos, group discussion, case studies, question/answers.
