# 7244 Vestibular Differential Diagnosis: Central vs. Peripheral Etiology of Vertigo 

 

The purpose of this course is to review and understand how to determine if the etiology of your patient’s vertigo may be arising from the CNS or the PNS.  Using fundamental information of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, physical and occupational therapy practitioners will be instructed how to identify telltale signs and symptoms and then categorize them into either central or peripheral vestibular diagnostic classification systems.  This presentation will utilize anatomic illustrations, videos, and case-scenarios to demonstrate and summarize the clinical utility and immediate application of the material.  Intermediate Level
