#7373 ADD, ADHD, Autism – Identify the State of the Nervous System for Improved Learning

SUMMARY:  Children with ADD, ADHD and Autism may have challenged learning disorders.  This may be related to the ability to filter and process sensation and the feedback loops of motor output. To improve and keep the attention to a task, we can assist in integration of lobe and midbrain functions for processing information and learning.

In this webinar, learn where interception, exteroceptive sensation and emotional processing takes place in the central nervous system and how to switch them “on" for progress. As therapists, learn how to engage the nervous system to improve connection and learning, in the child you treat.  Children learn through play.  We will discuss fun activities that lead to better concentration, focus and thus enhanced learning for these children with challenges.

The course instruction method includes: lecture, demonstration, picture graphs, videos, and question/answer.
