#7481 It’s a Wrap: Introduction to Taping and Strapping As an Adjunct to Therapy

 

This webinar will introduce the concept and use of taping and wrapping as an adjunct to therapeutic interventions in the treatment of adults and children with neurologic and orthopedic impairments. The course will introduce the use of static and dynamic taping techniques to facilitate improved alignment and muscle reeducation for function. Materials discussed include: rigid strapping tape, elastic therapeutic tape, and neoprene wraps. The course is intended to familiarize participants in the use of these modalities as an adjunct to treatment and to guide interest for future coursework and learning opportunities.  Course instruction method includes: Lecture, Demonstration, Videos, Cases Studies, Answer/Question. (Introductory Level)
